Elisabeth Strenger

Open Source and Responsible AI Analyst, IronSpark Analysis
Elisabeth Strenger is an Open Source and Responsible AI Analyst at IronSpark Analysis. Much of her technology career focused on data–from database architecture to compute infrastructure and from business intelligence tools to enterprise data environments. She has observed workloads, use cases, and business models change in enterprise settings and seen how enterprise demands, in turn, shape technology. She found an opportunity to call on all aspects of her data perspective with a data warehouse appliance startup, Dataupia, and its shared-nothing massively parallel processing architecture with a kernel based on Postgres. At Red Hat, her most recent corporate position, she led product marketing for emerging technologies which at various times included AI, IoT, RISC 5, GPUs, HPC, quantum computing, and open source as an incubator for innovation. Elisabeth’s capstone project was leading marketing for Red Hat Research, which fostered links among open source communities, academic research projects, and enterprise interest.
